Lafayette’s 7th Annual Boudin Cook-Off

Lafayette's 7th Annual Boudin Cook-Off affords everyone an opportunity to be the judge as to who has the best link of boudin across Acadiana. Teams from Eunice to Cottonport and Lafayette to Baton Rouge will compete fir bragging rights in four categories: traditional, specialty, unlinked and People's Choice.

There will be, literally, tons of boudin for the tasting as teams travel from all parts of Louisiana to take part in this year's event. The boudin eating contest  is always one of the highlights for the event and this year's competitive eating spectacle is sure to entertain. When you add the free activities for the kids, music, ice cream sandwich give-away, and all the other things going on during the event, it's no wonder the event was named as one of the top ten food festivals in the United States by Gourmet Magazine.
