Those Cajun 'ThunderCats' known as the 'TundaMinous' are back, and Episode 7 is a clever example of art imitating life.

If you missed my initial write up about this dub parody, the 'TundaMinous' are an interesting take on the classic 80s 'ThunderCats' cartoon mixed with Cajun accents, deep South Louisiana culture—both modern and traditional.

Episode 7 touches on the recent thunderstorm that interrupted the season finale of Grey's Anatomy and even features a cameo from a popular KATC personality. It also features to popular Ro-Bear character, and an unfortunate incident that has kept him out of working on screenporches and other random side jobs.

For those who may look at the title of the web series sideways, "Tunda" is "thunder" pronounced with a thick Cajun accent, and "Minou" is the Cajun french word for "cat."

According to The Advocate, series creator Ash Reese plans on doing at least 20 of these TundaMinous episodes, keeping the content fresh and current.

I want it to be as relevant as 'South Park' or 'Saturday Night Live.'

40-year-old Reese says he grew up in Church Point, but now calls Lafayette home. He says the voices come from the people he remembers growing up in the Gueydan-Church Point area.

Anyone outside of of Acadiana would probably be confused watching this dub parody, but personally, I hope Reese and his 'TundaMinous' production team keeps up the good work, because the local folks who "get it" are definitely enjoying the laughs.

You can catch up on all the latest episodes here, 'podnah.'
