‘The Hobbit’ Trilogy Gets It’s Titles

With Peter Jackson’s film adaptation of ‘The Hobbit’ now a trilogy, they had to rename some of the films. What is really cool about it is that you don’t have to wait a whole year between the second and third films.
Film one, titled ‘An Unexpected Journey’, opens December 14th. Film two is now called ‘The Desolation Of Smaug’ and will be released on December 13th, 2013. Film three will be called ‘There And Back Again’ and is being called by the studio as an “action spectacle and an emotional conclusion for this already much-anticipated trilogy”, will hit theaters on July 18th, 2014.
