April 17, 2012 According to former Hole guitarist Eric Erlandson, who recently released a book entitled, Letters To Kurt, revealed this week that Kurt Cobain was working on a solo album at the time of his death. In a classic case of backpedaling, Love has apologized to Frances Bean Cobain via Twitter after accusing former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl of hitting on her daughter.
That old adage all good things must come to an end certainly doesn’t apply when it comes to Courtney Love and her goldmine of tabloid-ready rantings. Yesterday Love unleashed a hate-filled rant aimed at Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl which accused him of being “obsessed with his hatred” of Kurt Cobain.
Courtney Love has apparently approved a forthcoming book about Kurt Cobain written by her former Hole bandmate Eric Erlandson, on the condition he leaves out details of the relationship between himself and Love.
Former Hole guitarist Eric Erlandson has signed a deal to publish a book about the late and legendary Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. Having been friends with Cobain and band mates with his wife Courtney Love, Erlandson has composed 52 letters and compiled them together in ‘Letters to Kurt.’
We reported earlier that Courtney Love really went off the deep end during a Hole concert at the SWU festival in Sao Paulo, Brazil, over the weekend, stripping off her clothes and using the stage as a bully pulpit to rail against Foo Fighters frontman / former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl.
This just in … Courtney Love will not open for Limp Bizkit. Love recently pulled out of plans for her band Hole to join an arsenal of rock giants like System of a Down, Slipknot, Machine Head and A Day to Remember in February and March 2012 for the upcoming Soundwave Festival dates in Australia. Apparently she was not happy with where her band was located on the bill, more specifically opening for Limp Bizkit.
