The New Orleans Saints are adding a former Tulane Green Wave standout to their practice squad.

Defensive end Royce LaFrance, who ranks third on Tulane's all-time sack chart, with 20, is expected to be added to the practice squad.

The Saints had an opening on the practice squad after the promotion of special teamer Jake Lampman to the 53-man roster.

The 6-foot-3, 258-pound LaFrance collected 6.5 sacks as a senior at Tulane in 2015, before joining the Saints for a three-day rookie minicamp in May, and then another minicamp in June.

Other members of the Saints' practice squad are Jack Allen, Taveze Calhoun, John Fullington, Garrett Grayson, Garrett Griffin, Ashaad Mabry, Chris McCain, Jake Stoneburner, and Jordan Williams-Lambert.
