The New Orleans Saints have added another receiver to their roster.

The team signed Rashad Lawrence, a former member of the Jacksonville Jaguars, to a reserve/future contract on Tuesday.

The 6-foot-2, 203-pound Lawrence played his college football at Northwestern, where he compiled 96 catches for 1,165 yards and two touchdowns over 51 games.

After going undrafted in the 2014 NFL Draft, Lawrence signed as a free agent with the Washington Redskins, before spending the final seven games of the year with the Chicago Bears' practice squad.

The 24-year Lawrence signed with the Jaguars in September of 2015, a member of their practice squad, before earning a spot on the active roster for the final four games of the season, without appearing in a game.

A native of Orlando, Florida, Lawrence becomes the ninth receiver on the Saints' roster, joining Brandin Cooks, Michael Thomas, Willie Snead, Brandon Coleman, Tommylee Lewis, Corey Fuller, Jake Lampman, and Jordan Williams-Lambert.
