The Saints and Drew Brees have come to an agreement regarding his contract.

It looks like Drew will finish out his career in New Orleans!

Brees' contract was up after this season's end, but the team, and the veteran QB have reached a deal.

The deal is reportedly five years, but voids to two years. It's worth up to $44.25 million.

If that doesn't quite make sense, maybe this will help a little:

"This deal totally favors the Saints. This is exactly the kind of deal they wanted," Saints sideline reporter Kristian Garic said. "In the NFL, whenever you see 5, 6 year contracts, it's really cut it in half, and in this case, a little further. Smart accounting on the Saints' end! I never really saw the Saints and Payton and Brees going in different directions."

Good on Drew for coming to these terms to help out the team!
