Saints Quarterback Chase Daniel Out With A Broken Thumb

Reports out of the New Orleans Saints camp have them running through quarterbacks faster than Gatorade. First the still-unsigned Drew Brees gets no practice time, for obvious reasons. Now, Chase Daniel is not able to practice with the team until training camp. Daniel received a sprained thumb and hairline fracture from hitting his thumb on a helmet.

He should be healthy in time for training camp later this year. To me, this should be a bit of a wake up call that maybe it’s time to get on the stick and get a Brees deal inked.
