New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton put himself through the teams Cross Fit styled physical!

He did say that he had a bit of difficulty, but he finished, damn it! What other coach would do that? That's why he's OUR coach!

“After the first 5 yards of pushing that sled, my goal was to finish. It was tough ... I didn’t want that sled to be sitting there, halfway between the sideline and like five players have to pull it back for the next heat.”

But why would a coach do this?

“I did this a year ago,” Payton said. “I wanted to get an idea of what it’s like.”

That's a great coaching tactic if you ask me. Now, not only does he know what he's putting his players through, but none of them have ANY room to complain.

He had plans to do it last week, but had a chest cold that kept him sidelined.

Payton also talked of Jairus Byrd's inevitable return saying that they expect him back "sooner than later". Byrd is recovering from back surgery.

Also, if y'all didn't see the the "Play of the Day" from training camp, you gotta check out Brandin Cooks leaping catch!
