With Thomas Morstead resting his strained quad, the New Orleans Saints have signed former Dolphins punter Brandon Fields.

If you remember in Sunday night's win over the Cowboys, place kicker Zach Hocker punted in Morstead's place.  This was due to Morstead straining his quad earlier in the game.

The Saints looked at four punters total, and decided on Fields, who is a former Pro-Bowler that played with the Dolphins for seven seasons.

It is reported that the Saints will also look at other kickers this week after Hocker missed the potential game winning 30-yard field goal.
