Since waiving kicker Garrett Hartley yesterday, it didn't (and couldn't really) take long for the New Orleans Saints to sign a new kicker. That kicker is Shayne Graham. Keep reading for more on the signing and about S. Graham (Gotta ad that "S" for there is only one Jimmy Graham).

Coach Sean Payton confirmed Shayne Graham's signing this morning.

From Nola.com:

The 36-year-old Graham has been in the league since 2000, when he began his career with the Saints, but was cut in the preseason. He most recently kicked with the Houston Texans last season.

Graham has made 245 of 287 (85.4 percent) of his attempts during his career, with a long of 55 yards.

Graham was one of five kickers brought in to work out in November after Hartley went through a slump. Payton said he seemed stronger and more accurate than the other kickers, which earned him the nod.

"He was clearly better," he said. "His experience obviously is helpful and is a plus."

Do you think this is a good signing or should we have kept Hartley?
