At Maryland’s Outlaw Jam on the weekend, Motley Crue’s Nikki Sixx jumped into the crowd to stop a fan from filming the concert.  The Day Tripper reports Sixx jumped off the stage into the crowd and attacked a fan with a professional-style camera. The band stopped playing while security guards came out, pulled Sixx back onto the stage and they removed a large, professional-style camera and its owner from the crowd.

Now, when I first read this, I couldn't figure out why he would get so pissed. This is 2011. Fans take pics and video of every show they go to. The guy he jumped had a pro camera, but still. So what? Let fans take pictures...you should be greatfull people still WANT to take pictures of you! However, then I had a thought. I know, creepy. If you notice, the camera fan who gets jumped is right in front of guitar player Mick Mars. Mick has had some rough bouts with a bone disease for years, and the band is VERY protective of him. I know for a fact you're not supposed to take pictures of him unless they say it's cool. This could be the case here. Nikki didn't want this guy taking pics of Mick with a fancy zoom lense, so he made it stop. Just my opinion, and it doesn't exuse him assaulting a fan, but I think Nikki was acting with his heart, not his head. What do you think?
