List Of Christmas Events Cancelled/Postponed Due To Weather

Here is a list of Christmas events that were happening this weekend around Acadiana that have been either postponed or cancelled.

Christmas events scheduled for December 3rd:

6th Annual Christmas Parade in Elton - Cancelled
Carencro Christmas Parade - Cancelled
Christmas under the Lampposts in Franlin - Postponed
Christmas under the Lampposts was scheduled to take place Saturday, December 3, 2016, at 6 p.m in Franklin. Due to the weather forecast, the Christmas parade and lamp-lighting ceremony will be rescheduled. The new date is Dec. 10.
Christmas on the Boulevard in Youngsville - Cancelled
The City of Youngsville's Christmas event has been postponed due to impending inclement weather. Christmas on the Boulevard was scheduled for December 3, 2016, in the Metairie Centre. The city will instead host an event in the spring. Information about the new event will be released soon.
Duson Christmas Parade - Postponed
The Duson Christmas Parade scheduled for Saturday December 3, 2016 has been postponed until Saturday December 17, 2016 at 12 Noon due to inclement weather.
Abbeville Christmas Parade - Postponed
The Abbeville Christmas Parade was scheduled for Dec. 3, but due to inclement weather the parade will now roll on Dec. 10.
