A Las Vegas cab driver, Gerardo Gamboa, found quite a load of money left in his cab. To the tune of $300,000! But the cab driver didn't sit on the money and keep it for himself. He returned it to the poker player that left it in his cab. Keep reading to see how he found the guy, if he got a reward, and more!

This is a good story that may restore your faith in humanity at least a little bit.

Gamboa told the Las Vegas Review-Journal he had another passenger by the time he began wondering what kind of chocolates were in the brown paper bag. He peeked inside at a traffic light.

Gamboa took the six bundles of $100 bills to the company's main office, where Las Vegas police and casino officials linked it to the poker player.

The Las Vegas cab driver’s good deed didn’t go unnoticed. Not only did the company declare Gamboa as driver of the year, he also received a check for $1,000. Yellow Checker Star gave the guy a free steak dinner for two, as well.
