Iberia Sheriff’s Office Holding Checkpoint Friday

Like the song says, if you get on the whiskey, let somebody else drive.

The Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint Friday between 9 p.m. and 3 a.m.

The sheriff's office did not say where the checkpoint would be.

"As always, motorists should use a designated driver if they are planning on being out and consuming alcohol," Sheriff Louis Ackal said.
