Hopefest, a music charity festival put on by juniors at St. Thomas More High School to benefit Healing House and the STM Options program, will get underway this afternoon, rain or shine.

Coach Lance Strother, who is helping to organize the event, says "when you support Hopefest, your dollar works twice, whether that's in your gate entrance or a donation, your dollar works twice. It goes to support these wonderful organizations, but it also goes to support young people rallying to do something charitable in our community."

The music lineup includes Charme and the Melophobia, Foxfire, Mackenzie Bourque, River Gibson, Jaryd Lane, and Tracy Lawrence.

Tickets can be purchased at Eventbrite for $20 or $35 at the gate.

Hopefest gets underway at noon.
