Green Day Singer Billie Joe Armstrong Kicked Off Flight For Sagging Pants

Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong was kicked off a Southwest flight recently for refusing to pull up his pants. According to eyewitnesses, as he was boarding the flight, a flight attendant requested he and his companion elevate the waist of their pants, to which he asked if there were not "better things to do than worry about that?"

According to rocknewsdesk, "He was told he could be ordered off the flight if he continued to refuse. When he insisted he just wanted to get to his seat, he and his companion were escorted back to the departure lounge.

Armstrong tweeted: “Just got kicks off a southwest flight because my pants sagged too low! What the fuck? No joke!”

But Southwest spokesman Brad Hawkins said he was allowed to board the next flight, and added: “We followed up with this customer and involved employees to get more details and, in our latest conversations, understand from the customer the situation was resolved to his satisfaction.”
