Get Ready For the Musem of Fear’s Inaugural ‘Zombie Walk’ In Downtown Lafayette

The Lafayette Science Museum Foundation, the host of the Museum of Fear, is launching its inaugural ZombieWalk. Free for participants; everyone is encouraged to join in on the fun, to watch in horror, and/or amusement, as Downtown Lafayette is overrun by zombies in celebration of Museum of Fear’s last installment of the 2012 season.
The walk will start at 5pm Saturday October 27, 2012, on the lawn of the old city hall (next to the statue of General Mouton.) Zombies will proceed down Jefferson Street, ending at Parc Sans Souci just in time for the after-party. Once safely at the Parc, music will be provided by Planet Radio 105.1, beverages by Schilling Distributing, and a costume contest will entertain until 7pm, just as Museum of Fear opens its doors. The lucky winners of the costume contest will not only win great prizes, but will earn the rare privilege of preying upon visitors from the cemetery within the Museum of Fear.
