A Go Fund Me fundraising page has been set up for a local man who fell from a Mardi Gras Float over the weekend.

Eyewitnesses report that Quinn DeJean, a member of the Mystic Krewe of Apollo Lafayette, was leaning over the railing of the float, trying to give a little girl some beads when he lost his footing and fell.  DeJean  is still hospitalized as of this writing, being treated for his injuries from the fall.

According to a post by the Krewe on Facebook:

Update on our Krewe member Quinn DeJean from his family: Quinn is out of surgery and is resting. His doctor informed us that his brain is needing lots of recuperation and that only time will tell us results. Although it's not exactly the news I know everyone, including my family and I, was hoping for we are still keeping the faith alive and prayers flowing! Thanks to everyone for their kind words of encouragement, thoughts, and prayers- Krewe of Apollo

The president of the Mystic Krewe of Apollo set up this Go Fund Me page to help raise money for Quinn's recovery.  Any amount will be accepted and greatly appreciated.
