FEMA Opens Vermilion Parish Recovery Center

Fema opens its Vermilion parish recovery center today, August 26th. It's located in the Old Health Unit, 401 S. St. Charles St. in Abbeville. The center will be open 7 days a week 8am - 6pm until further notice. You can register online at DisasterAssistance.gov. Other centers can be located by logging on to fema.gov/disaster-recovery-centers. You can also call 1-800-621-3362. If you need an interpreter, call 225-382-1739. Phone lines will be open 6am - 10pm, 7 days a week, until further notice.
