Drew Brees Gives Citizens Of New Orleans Another Message Due To Isaac

facebook.com

Yesterday, Saints quarterback Drew Brees gave the citizens of New Orleans a message of hope before Hurricane Isaac made landfall. Today, he continues to give NOLA citizens words of encouragement.Today, he said this via his official Facebook page:

Hope everyone in Nola and Gulf Coast gets to safety & hunkers down for Isaac. Prepare as best you can. May God’s protective hand be upon us.

He is a true leader both on and off the field. But I really don’t understand the whole “hunker down” phrase that The Weather Channel started.
