An awesome device helps the blind 'see' using sound waves and echoes...like bats!

It seems like something out of a Daredevil comic book, but it so happens to be real life. In this video, a blind woman is able to go about her life without a walking stick, or guide dog. Using technology developed by students at Wake Forest University, a device is placed on her wrist, and vibrates, letting her know how close she is to an object. They call it H.E.L.P. (Human Echo Location Partner). The best part about it is they've cut costs down to only $35 per device! Watch it in action:
