October 22, 2012 Why are we just hearing about this now??? Apparently there was a beluga whale named Noc, that had contact with researchers and would mimic human speech for THIRTY YEARS!!! Noc passed away 5 years ago. Am I the only one wondering why it took this long for the masses to learn about this? October 15, 2012 Yesterday, millions watched as professional skydiver Felix Baumgartner jumped from an altitude of 128,097 ft for the project called Red Bull Stratos. Baumgartner not only broke the record for the highest skydive, but he also broke the sound barrier. That's right, he was falling so fast, he went supersonic at a speed of 1137 kmh, or Mach 1.24 which is 833 mph.
October 9, 2012 In just a short amount of time, daredevil and skydiver Felix Baumgartner will attempt to become the first man to skydive from the stratosphere at 120,000 feet and break the sound barrier. The mission is called Red Bull Stratos. If he succeeds, he will not only break the barrier of sound, but break Joe Kittinger's record for the world's highest skydive at 102,799 ft.

I've mentioned before that I'm a huge sucker for history stories, and Abraham Lincoln is one of my favorites. When U.S. gymnast McKayla Maroney took home the Silver after she fell in the women's vault final, she was seen being extremely NOT IMPRESSED with the winning of the Silver medal.
