The Batmobile, driven by Michael Keaton in the films Batman and Batman Returns, is a pretty bad ride! I know I wanted one when I first saw the movie. This diehard British Batman fan decided to build one from scratch.

From the video on YouTube, this 'street-legal' Batmobile is fully equipped with flame throwers and is expected to sell for £90,000 at auction.

From YouTube.com:

The jet black machine is based on the Batmobile driven by Michael Keaton's caped crusader in the 1989 blockbuster. It was built in the UK on custom chassis and has a straight six, fuel injected modern Jaguar 3.2 litre engine with automatic transmission. The rear-wheel drive Batmobile comes complete with a fully operational flame thrower and hydraulic suspension which can raise the car by a further nine inches. It is claimed the car will hit 60mph in less than five seconds although the visibility has been compared to that of a fighter jet.

The Batmobile will be auctioned off by Historics on November 30 at Mercedes-Benz World, Brooklands.
