Brandon Scott Lavergne Was Checked Out Of Jail Yesterday, Hours Before Suspected Body Of Mickey Shunick Was Found
August 8, 2012 9:41 AM As we all wait for the toxicology report to identify the remains found yesterday suspected to be those of missing Lafayette woman Mickey Shunick, The Daily Advertiser has just released information stating that Brandon Scott Lavergne was checked out of jail yesterday morning.
LPSO spokesman Capt. Kip Judice tell The Advertiser ;
“The Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office is acting as support agency to the Lafayette PD who is the lead in the case, we will not comment on why a prisoner was moved.”

“According to Lafayette Parish Correctional Center records, Brandon Scott Lavergne was checked out of jail at 6:40 a.m. Tuesday, hours before police said they found human remains believed to be those of Mickey Shunick.”
