New Orleans Saints Stay With Shayne Graham

In keeping his word of personnel changes, New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton tried out three other kickers today.

They decided to stay with current kicker Shayne Graham for now.

The three other kickers who tried out were former Saints kicker Garrett Hartley, Derek Demke, who lost out to Shayne Graham in training camp, and Zach Hocker, a 7th round draft pick for the Washington Redskins who didn't win the starting position.

Graham is 18-20 on field goals this season. Even after he was NFC Special Teams Player of the Month in October, he missed a 42 yard field goal in the horrendous Saints 41-10 loss to the Panthers.

The tryouts come after the Saints waived wide receiver Joe Morgan, and demoted starting safety Kenny Vaccaro.
