At 8:20 this Saturday morning a traffic slowdown began affecting the eastbound lanes of I-10. At 8:36, Louisiana State Police issued an alert that I-10 Eastbound was closed because of a crash.

That crash occurred between Exit 121 and Exit 127, approximately 5 miles east of Henderson. Because the crash occurred on the raised portion of the roadway it will take extra time to clear the incident.

The image you see contained in this story was captured via 511la.org traffic cam website. It shows the traffic back up at milepost 119. State Police have not determined how long the roadway will be closed while authorities clear this accident.
