Acadiana Comics And Collectibles On Johnston Street Is Target Of Armed Robbery

A local comic book shop here in Lafayette was the target of an armed robbery earlier today.

Acadiana Comic and Collectibles on Johnston Street was the target of an armed robbery around lunch time today, according to Lafayette Police.

Police said they pulled over a vehicle on the Evangeline Thruway in front of Northgate Mall because the persons inside the vehicle might be connected to the armed robbery.

No injuries were reported.
